Mom, I can't possibly express how much I truly miss you. I think a part of all of us died with you. The light went out in our family. I would have given my life to make you better, and I'm sorry there wasn't more we could have done for you. That was the hardest thing in the world to sit next to you everyday and watch you slowly slip away. It was heartbreaking. It still feels like yesterday. You went through so much hurt and pain, it was so unfair. I know up in Heaven that hurt and pain is gone. Your with God and your family. Probably watching over us smiling down. I hope you knew just how much you were truly loved and treasured by us all. I'm sure you'll be at those gates when it's my turn and we'll meet again. Until then, you rest.
